S- In the film Benjamin Button the director, Fincher used two techniques voice-over narration and montage to portray that time always moves forward.
E- In this scene, we see Daisy hold Benjamin and explain when she met him.
X- we hear Daisy narrated an overview of when she moves in with Benjamin when he was 5 years old. Daisy moves in as she is getting older and Benjamin is getting younger, Daisy starts to tell us how she knew that Benjamin knew who she was and that they still had the chemistry they had when benjamin was older.
Y- this shows that time still moves forward no matter what way you age.
